Don't know how much this will help, but here goes...

1. How do you define creativity?
I don't usually define it, or have a need to. One dictionary says "the use of the imagination or original ideas, esp. in the production of an artistic work." That's probably as good as any other definition I know of.

2. Do you consider yourself to be creative? Yes, no, why or why not? If not, do you want to grow in that?
	Yes.

3. Do you think everyone is creative or has the capacity to be creative in some way?
Yes - we are created by God Who is creative. That sounds quite redundant, doesn't it?

4. How does creativity function in your life? (how do you draw on it? Is it sporadic or always involved, etc.)
Usually, as I'm playing music, melodies or chord progressions come to me expressing something within me. Many times it's not so much a mental thing as it just comes and I find myself playing something new. I'm fairly sure my varied musical background comes into play during this, as well, but trying to dissect all this is not something I've ever tried or wanted to do.

There are times when I use some basic approach to arranging, such as becoming familiar with the words to a song I play, and then trying to express the lyrics musically.

5. In what ways would you like to develop your creativity?
Well, I mainly need to practice, to spend time developing technique I need to accomplish musical goals.

6. How are creativity and imagination intertwined?
Good question. By definition, creativity uses the imagination.

7. What role does the Holy Spirit play in how you function creatively?
I see the Holy Spirit as my Genius, my Muse, so to speak. It is God Who gave me the gift of music, and it is Him Who inspires my use of it.

How do you define creativity?

Using existing materials (including non-material materials, like music notes and scales) in a lovely, functional, and/or meaningful way.

Do you consider yourself to be creative? Yes, no, why or why not? If not, do you want to grow in that?

Yes, I'm creative. With such a broad definition I think everyone is or can be. People don't think they're creative because they've been subjected to narrower definitions and standards... and discouraged from expressing themselves if they don't fit the discouragers' ideas.

Do you think everyone is creative or has the capacity to be creative in some way?

Yes.

How does creativity function in your life? (how do you draw on it? Is it sporadic or always involved, etc.)

I don't often think about it. Sometimes it seems I am less creative the more I focus on being creative. One has to have something to be creative ABOUT (or with, or for, etc).

In what ways would you like to develop your creativity?

I'd like to make more money with it! In a way that is helpful or beautiful or meaningful to others. Maybe create knitting patterns to sell. Do more music performing and arranging. Learn about homeschooling.

How are creativity and imagination intertwined?

Imagination = imaging = vision -- ability to see, project, visualize. Some creatives work without seeing far ahead of the project -- just playing with the materials and seeing what happens. The ability to do that, though, might involve another kind of imagination -- a risk-taking, boundary-crossing kind. Or maybe imagination is the wrong word for that.

What role does the Holy Spirit play in how you function creatively?

The Holy Spirit sustains life, the universe, and everything. He also moves more particularly in all sorts of things in a person's life. He's pretty intangible to me -- I trust he's there and active, but I don't think I've ever been able to point and say "there's what he did" about anything.

Other thoughts, ideas, frustrations, questions, etc.?

I wish it were easier to do the things that are the most meaningful to me. It's (relatively) easy to do some beautiful and lovely things, but when I try hard to express something seriously important, it usually falls quite flat.

I think creativity is any time something new comes to you. Something with life in it if you will.

Yes. Holy Spirit gives me pictures, thoughts, inspiration to create things for His worship, purposes.

Yes. Father God is creative and we are made in His image.

I will walk by material and the Holy Spirit gives me a picture of what to make with something in particular but at other times, usually banners, it is a process of working on it, stepping back and waiting for the next part to be revealed. I do however, know that hanging with creative people who take time to allow creativity to flow, allows it to flow freer in me.

I desire to be healed so I could stand longer and not take so many breaks!! : ) More training in painting on silks. Don't know any one who teaches that close by.

Taking time to let yourself see things, if you will. How would I show this or that part of the Lord's personality. I play with the Lord if you will. We have fun hanging out together.

I always bug Him for help and I want His anointing on whatever I do. The anointing is very important to me. Skill is good but my skill won't change a life.

Amount of time that goes into creating. I don't like duplicating but seems that I must. First time I make something, I always must release of as a firstfruit and make ma another one and then make more for who may desire that item. Usually flags. Wish I was quicker. I enjoy the process on some level cause I play worship songs or teaching cd but it can get redundant but that's probably why it is called work!!!
